Beam‐steering capability for OAM‐based reflectarray at 5G‐mmWave frequencies

چکیده

The ability of the reflectarray antenna (RA) to perform orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam-steering with low divergence angles at fifth generation (5G) millimetre-wave (mmWave) bands is demonstrated. To provide steered OAM beams, it necessary regulate scatterer's geometries smoothly throughout focal area follow required twisted distribution. traditional numerical method compensate for phase modified enable 3D scanning property so possible avoid feeder blockage and produce high-gain beams. Likewise, reducing inherent beam beams can be obtained by examining most satisfactory distribution scatterers fitting length. simulated radiation pattern validated measured fabricated RA in frequency range between 28.5 31.5 GHz.
